situated near the corner of Robie Street and Gorsebrook Avenue)

This lecture is part of the annual Classics lecture series organized with
the assistance of the Classical Association of Canada. It is sponsored
by the Department of Modern Languages and Classics, Saint Mary's
University and Department of Classics, Dalhousie University.

Exciting news! The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia will soon open a new exhibit: Treasures of Ancient Egypt. Naturally, Res Publica will be organizing a trip down there! We took a group to the Ancient Art of the Mediterranean last year and had a great time!

More Coffee and More Conversation!

Last weeks Coffee and Conversation was a smashing success! Rumor has it that both coffee and conversation were had and enjoyed by all.

Join us again this Friday for some free coffee and snacks!

Where?: Classics Department Lounge, first floor FASS
Why?: Because all the cool kids will be there.

Come one, come all to the first Coffee and Conversation of the year!!

When: Every Friday, 9am - 12pm
Where: Classics Department lounge, 1st floor FASS Building

You don't need to know anything about Classics in order to attend! All are welcome and encouraged to come out. It is a great way to meet your fellow Classics students as well as your professors.

Remember: Classics is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
